Zoo Symphany

We went to the Zoo last weekend to see Auntie Kelsi perform and then to catch up with my Dad's side of the family to watch the animals and symphony. I know what you're thinking... a symphony for a 1.5 year old, it was actually a lot of fun because it was a family event, geared towards kids.
How amazing is Kelsi!?!

Of course they picked Dad to be the volunteer to hold this guy up. Look how strong he it!!
He said after the act that the hardest part was keeping still so the guy wouldn't fall.
Everyone got there after Kelsi's show and Grandpa took me straight away to the petting zoo. I was saying all the noises, but didn't really want to pet any of them.

Hanging out with Uncle Jon
Grandpa took Elizabeth and I all around... it was fun!

Elizabeth and I held hands for a little bit too.

They took our picture for the paper so look for us in the Zoo News if you get it. It was such a fun day... thank you Grandma and Grandpa for taking all of us!!

My First Time to the Races!!

We went to the races the other day and it was my first time! Mom only bet on one race and she won! Can you believe it!?! I think I brought a little luck to our table because my mom wasn't the only winner... Nanan, Tutu and Papa won too!! It was so much FUN!!
I liked to watch the horses down below before they raced.

Watching a race with Granddad.
Eating grapes with Tutu... I sure do like grapes, Tutu thought I was going to turn into one!
Watching another race with Tutu. It was so fun... can't wait to go back!

Weekend with Dad!

We missed Dad so much while in Almanor so we spent the entire weekend as a family... it was so much fun being all back together again!
We went to the Birch Aquarium and I loved looking at all the fish!
After eating a yummy brunch at Norte we walked on the beach.

Beach Time!

Mom and I have been going to the beach throughout the summer. I love it!! Here are a couple pics from the last couple times we went.
Sharing my shovel with Dillon
Playing with Charlie and Dillon
Uncle Wes made sandcastles for me, but we knocked them down before mom took a picture.Update: London is growing up so fast it's incredible! She says a lot more now, so much that I can actually understand her. She knows all the animal sounds and loves to show you how birds fly; bunnies and kangaroos 'hop;' and frogs 'splash' in the pond. She tries to Jump and it's the funniest thing ever because she jumps like me (barely getting off the ground). Bill thinks it's funnier than I do, but you can't help but laugh. I'm loving motherhood more and more each day and Bill is the best dad ever!

Almanor 2010

Mom, Bella and I drove up to Almanor with Nanan (yes her name has changed again, but this time it stuck and I actually call her 'Nanan'). We all had a blast with the family and can't wait to go back... hopefully next time Daddy can take off work to come with us because we missed him A LOT!!!

At one of our stops along the way to the lake mom put me in the back with the dogs so I could help give them water and I loved it so much I didn't want to get out to get back in my carseat!
Waving at all the people staring... they thought I was hysterical!
Walking over the bridge with Granddad... about a dozen times!
Running around like CRAZY!
Playing soccer with Auntie Katie
Helping Nanan brush Merrill
I wasn't a big fan of my life jacket... it felt like I couldn't move, but by the end of the trip I was doing much better. Here I am trying to look at mom sitting with Uncle Mike.
The best job was holding the flag up when someone was in the water. I kept saying, "flag."
Lovin Life!
We all got Grandad this paddle board for his birthday and we all had so much fun riding it!
Uncle Wes was already a pro!

We all went on a hike and Grandad carried me in the backpack the entire way... he is the greatest!
Uncle Spencer is super 'cool.'
I LOVE the TUBE!!!
I even asked to get in it while we were just hanging out at the dock.
Auntie Katie's boyfriend came for a couple days, he was super nice!
I warmed up to him real fast.
I had so much fun swinging in the hammock with Nanan
Holding the flag again
Hummm... what should I do next?
Uncle Wes let me drive the boat. It was fun, but I was very serious.
I love my Granddad and Nanan
Swimming with Mom
Blowing bubbles with Nanan
Granddad dunked me in the water over the side of the boat and I thought it was the greatest thing ever. I kept saying, "mo pease" (which means, more please) and he just couldn't resist. I'm pretty sure I gave him a workout doing it over and over.
Mom and Uncle Wes
This darn life jacket!

Walking down to the dock again
Watching the guys try to paddle their way in.
It was very entertaining.
They finally made it.
The 4-wheeler was a blast!

Looking at the beautiful scenery and showing Nanan the very few clouds in the sky. you can't see them in the pic, but there were a couple in front of us.Here Aunt Dana... I picked you a flower.
So, this is my 'stink face.'
And my 'nice face'
Uncle Mike gave the adults an education on beer. Mom said it was really neat and most of them were pretty good. I still have to wait 20 more years to get to taste it, but don't worry my cousins taught me how to cheers with my milk.

I found this thing in my mom's bag... not sure what it is, but she didn't let me play with it and she was laughing. I guess I'll have to find out when I'm much older.
I was always by Granddad's side to see what he was going to give me a bite of next. He always has the good stuff!

Me and Mom

Well, it was an awesome trip! I learned a lot and grew even more!! Looking forward to going back soon, but now it's time to go home and see my Dad!!
